Fake signatures and fake appearances are not something new in our judicial system. But the surprising thing is that it has now reached even Supreme Court. The judicial system itself is to be blamed for it. The system needs to be overhauled with the help of modern technologies but when there is resistance within the system against the use of modern technology to check all these maladies, and several of the stake holders want to continue with more than century old system, these things are bound to happen. I can tell from my personal experience as a practicing lawyer that it is possible to simplify the things with the help of technology but vested interests will not allow it to happen. I have approached Supreme Court e-Committee but there is no response.
